Any tips on painting factory steel rims?

Guys, my factory steel wheels are starting to show some rust behind the hubcaps, just minor surface rust but looks crappy. Has anyone painted them, if so do i need to use a high temp paint or just a rattle can of black? I have factory hub caps so it doesnt need to be pretty but just didnt know if a pressure can of regular paint would burn off or somethign because of the heat from the brakes ?

just prep the surface and use a basic paint. I just did mine with some black Rustoleum.

PlasticDip. Just clean the surface, it can peel out too when wanted. Google it, you'll see.
