Anyone on here from the CT area? Im chasing down a vibration in my G37 and I think I might have a bent rim, but not sure. Instead of going out and buying a new set, I was hoping there was someone around here I could swap with for 20 minutes or so for a ride and test to see if thats it or not. Kinda driving me crazy. Dealer 'doesnt have the ability' to check for a slight bend. All the local wheel shops will check it out and fix it to the tune of $125/rim not including unmounting tires etc.
Thanks!

I would think that a shop could balance test the rim/tire??
Why do you think you have a bent rim?

I know it, I would think that but the 2 I called wanted $100-125 a rim to check out and fix. if they werent bent then no charge but still have the unmount, mount and rebalance charges. At 125 a wheel I might as well just get new ones.
Heading down the hiway I get a vibration. I brought it to my tire guy who is fantical about balance so I know they are OK. He couldnt check for rim true though.
When i go really slow.. I mean REALLY slow..not even enough for the speedo to register, I feel it.
