Antenna not rising
Antenna not rising
Anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem. I was thinking of trying one out of an auto wrecker, is it usually the motor that is shot. Does this motor have a fuse if so where is it? I got the fender already removed.

Fuse #24 on the diagram on page 3 is the fuse that controls the antenna.

Probably the motor gave out, given that it's 14 years old, that's not surprising.

Or could be that the plastic toothed cable inside the antenna has broke.
Do you hear any noise coming from the antenna assembly when you turn on or off your radio?

Ya it was the mechanism in the housing . Im just going to run without the antenna going up or down. These antennas only reach about 1.5 ft not very long.
