A sneak peak at the new rear end design of the Dataun 240z wide body. It will be a full alloy body over a 4130 tube chassis. 100% hand made right down to the suspension. 1000hp AWD (Nissan power). The body is 12" wider in the rear. Every line on the car has been changed in some way. It's being built the way Nissan would do it if they Re-released the 240z in 2015. Check back for major updates. What you see is just being used to make a full size buck. All panels are made on our @baileigh_industrial power hammer and English wheel.

I'm fairly certain you are doing a far better job than Nissan would if they were to re-release it for 2015 :rotfl :rotfl

Keep up the good work!

I'm a bit confused. It says "aluminum wide body" but as far as I can tell you have aluminum fender flares and aluminum hood scoop everything else is steel. Looks like you have your aluminum flares cleko'd onto your widened steel body. Of course you can't weld the aluminum to the steel so I guess they will be bonded or bolted on? But then you say in one post the whole body is gonna be aluminum, so is the steel body just to be used as a buck?
