I have the factory alloy wheel.MadOx75 wrote:Wow, that looks harsh. Which wheels do you have? Ebay has some of the 17" Rogue wheels for sale.

No. Any competent tire dealer should have the replacement seal kit (includes an o-ring, and valve core) and be able to switch the sensors for you. No programming is required so long as you don't install a new sensor.AznJohn22 wrote:hmm Do i need to bring it into Nissan Service to switch and reset the TPMS?
Nope. It's integrated with the valve stem:MadOx75 wrote:The 2008 still has the band type TPMS, right?
Considering the mileage, you could get away with just two and use the new ones on the front. Don't rotate them until the wear equalizes a bit. I would be careful during the winter though... putting the highest traction tires on the front could result in a vehicle that may want to oversteer. The VDC will help though.AznJohn22 wrote:Should I get two or four brand new tires?

Direct link:

The actual Nissan part # is:
40300-JM02A
ALUMINUM WHEEL 17X7JJ, Rogue +2008 HB. SL
Note: The part # has changed a couple of times. If a dealer were to enter this it will give the reference to the correct #.
I originally used the URL tags, but because the keywords= is followed by brackets, it messes up the bbcode. Sorry.MadOx75 wrote:http://www.courtesyparts.com/kb_search_ ... _7849_7854
Copy and paste that, it wont let me make it a link.
Looks like it retails for around $500.
Link fixed by moderator. Use the URL tags when posting links, not 'Code'
Wow. Such a big price difference between the Nissan dearlership's part department and website. They said it would cost $614 for the new rim. From $614 to $367.philipa_240sx wrote:Goto Rogue (S35) 2008-2011 => Genuine Nissan Parts => Axle and Suspension => 433 Road Wheel and TireAznJohn22 wrote:i can't seem to find the alloy wheel on courtesy part's website. I called courtesy part and the guy gave me the part# 40300-JM025. Am i getting the 16 or 17 aluminum wheel?philipa_240sx wrote:My Nissan parts FAST software is not up to date. There seems to be several part no's for this wheel.
AznJohn22, rather than guess I would just call the dealer and get the quote with the correct Nissan part no. so you can cross shop it online.
Also, don't forget to add shipping when shopping online! The wheel is ~20lbs and bulky. It's not going to be cheap to ship to your door!
hmm ... how come they have different prices? The website has part# 40300-JM02A for $386 and part # 40300-JM025 for $ 483.45.philipa_240sx wrote:AznJohn22,
Nissan lists 4 different part no's for the 2008-2010 Rogue 17" alloy wheel:
40300-JM025 - 17X7JJ HAYES LEMMERZ
40300-JM01A - 17X7JJ HAYES MEXICO
40300-JM02A - 17X7JJ LIUFENG
40C00-JM02A - 17X7JJ LIUFENG
They are all the same wheel.
The different #'s are simply used to denote the supplier the wheel came from. This is quite a common in Nissan's part numbering system. The dealer uses the FAST parts ordering system and it will automatically substitute any of these part no's depending on which is available.
Nick 568 wrote:If you call the Nissan dealer, they can tell you the exact wheel you need from your VIN #. That's what my dealer did when a tire shop messed up my OEM wheels and had to pay for replacements.
Also, have you at all tried to see if the dealer would replace the wheel under the bumper to bumper warranty? I mean, that's pretty crazy that happened to an OEM wheel...can't hurt to have the dealer take a look at it. Worst thing that could happen is they say no, and the best thing that could happen is Nissan pays for your new wheel.
No, it doesn't.AznJohn22 wrote:Does the circle with the Nissan logo on the rim come with the new wheel?
Usually around $20. Depends where you go. You also need to transfer the TPMS sensor so factor in a few $$$ for that and make sure they replace the seals! Also, what is the average price to mount and balance per tire? Thanks.
No, it doesn't.philipa_240sx wrote:AznJohn22 wrote:Does the circle with the Nissan logo on the rim come with the new wheel?
