I know I've got to be missing something or another, and you guys haven't let me down in the past, so here's my current shopping cart list:

Anything I should add before I finalize and ship everything?

Also should be noted I'm going through Wiring Specialties for my EFI harness. Mine is in a bad way right now. :(

Yes, add silicone bypass hoses. They're cheaper than OEM and last forever. Might want to get plugs while you're in there.

Where are you ordering from?

Plug for the exhaust when you delete the EGR
Knock sensor and wire for knock sensor-good measure since your pretty much there
Extra fuel line-sometimes you have to cut the hose when removing
Plenum gasket

Are you just putting the bar for the hicas delete or eliminating the whole system?
How are the injectors?
Are you doing the water line delete under the plenum?

Highly agree with Tony, Silicone bypass hose,

Throttle Body Gaskets if you want to take those off and clean them.
IACV Gasket if you want to take that off.
Might as well just get the EGR delete kit since it comes with everything needed.
PM me or I can do a write up of how to get the EGR out with the motor and transmission still in the car.
Maybe Spark plugs as well

Added bypass hoses. I'll get plugs as well. Ordering from IPP. They're by far the best price around.
nissanfreak12 wrote:Plug for the exhaust when you delete the EGRCan't just use a bolt? The other kit is twice the price...
Knock sensor and wire for knock sensor-good measure since your pretty much thereOoof, there's another $200....
Extra fuel line-sometimes you have to cut the hose when removing Auto parts store
Plenum gasketAdded. Completely forgot.

Are you just putting the bar for the hicas delete or eliminating the whole system? I'll eventually swap the pump and reservoir over, but for now, I'm just gonna do the bypass and remove the rear actuator and the rear lines.
How are the injectors? I'm not gonna jinx them, lmao.
Are you doing the water line delete under the plenum? Most likely.
TB and IACV gaskets. Good idea as well. Probably not a bad idea to clean them.

Also, an in-car EGR delete would be a great write-up. Pics would make it even better, but if not, I can take the pictures when I do mine.

A bolt should work, I may have an extra plug lying around from my down pipes. I will let you know.

KS and harness, contact Bernie from TT.net, he has the relocation set up for $125. You can tell him to leave the long bolt alone or see if he will replace it with a plug for the EGR delete. Attached is a link to his parts list he sells.

Well Ace, I dont have the Z with me right now otherwise I would so if you want to do the write up go ahead and be my guest. And a bolt to plug the egr? So are you removing it or just removing the metal lines that run to the plenum?

IIRC, The EGR has a tube that goes to the exhaust, then runs to the actual EGR "spaceship-looking thing" on the back of the engine, then two tubes that run to the bottom of the plenum, which is what the blockoff plates are for, am I right? I was saying a bolt that fits the exhaust threading, to block off the hole from removing the tube.

And thanks for the tip, just ordered the relocate kit from Bernie. Good stuff.

I believe a bolt will do just fine, just get a tiny one, length wise and seal it with a copper o-ring.

Bernie also sells the egr exhaust plug :)

Yes, the block off plate bolt up under the plenum, near the TB's

I would only do the KS Reloc as a temporary solution, as it greatly reduces the effectiveness. When you pull the transmission or motor, I'd install it in the proper location.

Yeah, that's what I figured. It probably won't be long, as my rear main seal may be leaking. I haven't been able to confirm or not, as it's been raining nonstop. I'm gonna go make some ramps here soon so I can get a jack under the front.
