My airbag light is flashing and my passenger airbag light is on on my dash.

I used my obd scanner and it didn't come up with an error code. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes but that didn't help either.

I triggered the warning light when i disconnected a cable and turned the key to the II position when looking for a wire in the harness.

Any ideas how to get rid of the light myself?

So the "red" airbag light on the dash is flashing and the "yellow" airbag light is solid "ON" (meaning airbag OFF) when there's a passenger or weight on the seat?

If the above is true, then what's the manufacture date of your Versa? If it's between 2006-05-14 and 2006-09-25, then it's this:

Usually it shows up as a B1019, "Assist Weight Send Unit Fail"
