Just got the aftermarket center console from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-T ... 3358470840 It seems a bit smaller than you would imagine in real life, but for $40 I wasn't expecting miracles. Took about 2 weeks to come from Hong Kong. Installation couldn't have been easier. With a little ingenuity you could even make a secret hidden compartment. Ill try and take some pictures when I head out to my car next.

I have the same one, matches the black interior, and looks great. The only problem is when you open it to put stuff it in, instead of the area being flat, there is a flat area with about half and inch all around raised, It's hard to describe, also It blocks the handbrake a little, but other than that, I was very satisfied with it.

I got one of these a few months ago after I bought the car. For me it's perfect. My wife is short and drives with the seat all the way forward. So it doesn't serve as an armrest for her. But she has it all filled with her stuff. A good purchase.

A question for the members who are happy with this center console. Are any oi you using it with the 6 speed manual transmission?

Thanks

I got one of these in mine, but it was tan. It does its job but was not happy with the quality. Cup holder was/is broken since i got it. had to fix some pieces before i could use. and not very much space to put stuff inside. but i am happy that i have somewhere to set my arm when im driving.

Yeah, I used to just hold on to the automatic shifter and drive with my left hand. And now because of the size i still do the same thing but i can prop my elbow on the armrest now.(not much of an armrest even for me). I don't think ill be storing much in there, it was more of a way to stash my gps or other valuables when I have to leave them in my car. I'm thinking about just cutting the useless cup holder, gluing the little cover on permanently and rigging a way to easily take off the bottom to make it a false bottom for my secret stashing of contraband. I did take some pictures that I have yet to upload, but ill post them so anyone debating on getting this can have an idea.

I have this same armrest with a 6 speed manual. It does not interfere with shifting. I am tall, so I put the armrest in the rearmost cup holder.
