Check your head unit wiring. One of my other posts here has a pin-out of the chassis side wiring. Connect your power antenna wire from your HU to the proper chassis side wiring connection.canadian booster wrote:i just rebuilt my dead power antenna with a new mast and the bodies of two faulty antennas and motors, now it works great, i put it back in last night and didn't see anywhere else to plug the antenna cable into. maybe there isn't one for jdm
it would be cool to use the back window one if it's there, the power antenna works now, but goes up every time my deck is turned on for CDs, mp3s, or radio ..

So when you search "300ZX antenna adapter" in Google images, you get a picture I linked to in a post in the technical section:
there are two prongs recepticles inside that cavity. Connect the factory antenna plug 180° from it's current orientation to use the other antenna. Default is the R/C car antenna out back. The other way is the rear hatch glass on t-top models, and the windshiled antenna in verts.

Not quite, as your image is broken, sir.BigTDogg (MA) wrote:

Original Poster missed out here as it's been a while since he posted. I've got this covered. My custom made antenna exclusively for the Z. Available from me for a mere $138.95 plus $15.00 shipping and handling. Currently available in Black, red or white. Truly plug-and-play:RARZ wrote:Does anyone know of an aftermarket antenna? A stubby one. I do not want to have a tall antenna that moves. I also want it to mount in the same place
