Found a 99 w/ high mileage but strictly freeway, so the engine wear & tear's minimal. Going to scoop her up tomm.

This was a Craig's List smoke & mirrors operation. I drove 2 hours in severe weather only to arrive @ an unattended car lot, full of what looked to be insurance totaled vehicles nothing below 100,000 on the odometer. When the "broker" finally arrives I get into the Q it takes 3-4 times to crank(I chalk that up to sitting). I pop the hood & the engine looked as if it hadn't been touched in a decade IE spider webs, fluid leaking from nearly every visible component, just totally neglected shape. Really disappointed as the guy told me the engine was clean enough to eat off of lol. Oh well I guess the omen of lightening striking as soon as we arrived in that town was on point lol.

Bummer about the bait and switch. How many Q's have you owned? I saw you have a '96 that you've been restoring. Is the restore done?

Only 1 the 96, as far as the restore I have the engine pristine minus searching for a speedometer gear where the tranny & vehicle speed sensor interact. Body & interior wise is on deck to happen after I get the speedometer & power steering back in full force.

I found a 94' @ local yard I'm thinking if the VSS is interchangeable so would be the speedo gear. Was hoping someone here had a clue before I dump $ on something that maybe useless lol.
