did you buy us spec tt ac lines? i know condensor is different but havent heard what ppl do with the hardlines. it appears the na lines will not clear all the turbo/ic/intake piping...

I used my stock NA lines and a reman NA compressor, the lines need to be massaged but do work.

Just an FYI, you will need a new condenser for it to work. The NA condenser will not work, too wide with the piping.

yah i got it. got a pretty clean jdm front clip. 62,xxx km, 150 - 160 psi on cold compression. just has a leaky valve cover. already got timing kit, pcvs, egr (im in california), new oem injectors, koyo rad, harness, o2 sensors and fuel pump. gonna order new chras soon and debating if i should get z1 smics along with any other small random tidbits.

Check the oil pan, even though its a clip, still check it. If any dents replace. I would also replace the oil pump, flush the crap out of the cooling system BEFORE putting in your nice radiator. Z1 SMIC are nice, but just look in to the godspeed SMIC. I have been running them and I think nolimit, I'm sure he will chime in, with zero issues. A lot of people will say stay away, but a few of us have had some good results with them.

Lol, why yes I will chime in, I personally dont have any experience with any SMICs, I run a huge GS twincore FMIC but I have been looking at getting the GS SMICs when I get back stateside unless I pull a couple shinny coins out of my a** and then I'm going for a full custom setup.

cool, thanks for the suggestion guys :)

ive looked into the GS smic but not sure about performance without any ducting. i have 99 jspec bumper waiting to get painted so the openings are a bit freer flowing than the original but not sure if the air will just flow around to a lesser path of resistance than through. Did you make custom ducting nissanfreak12?

Ducting is a must, for the price those are a no brainer, are they required? no, but a damn good idea.

I would suggest ducting, but if you keep the boost low or not constantly in boost you will be fine without. I have an aftermarket bumper looks like the JDM one, but I think its Greaddy, not really sure. Don't have any ducting, works just fine, but I rarely do any high boost or stay in boost for long periods of time, damn cops ruining the fun.

Oh, and some more advice since your swapping, relocate your PTU. Some relocate it to just behind the driver headlight, I put mine in the nose panel. Just google or ask where some people relocated theirs.
