hi guys,

I have an Infiniti 2007, G35, 4 doors. I went to Infiniti dealer in Santa Monica to repair it and they told me that the (A/C compressor pulley frozen and leaking). So, they recommended me to replace the compressor which is about $950 and labor work about $600. Honestly, I'm shocked. Any suggestions please? Thank in advance.

Unfortunately, as you now know, if anything is not up to spec with the compressor they will replace the whole thing. I don't think there is a specific part number to order for just the pulley itself. You can try and source a used compressor and see if it's possible to swap the parts or not.

You may be able to just replace the clutch on it. Someone else in the Rogue forum just did this. post6593928.html?hilit=clutch%20ac#p6593928

You could also take it to a local mechanic and pay a fraction of what the stealership costs.

Edit: just saw the date on this
