Has anyone replaced a power steering pump on a Y33?

Your question was answered in the Q45 forum.

FYI, you have a FGY33. No Y33 were sold in the US, and no Y33 had a V8.

Appreciate the info. I was told that pre 1/98 models built in Japan were Y33's.

You were misinformed.

The Y33 is a JDM model Cedric or Gloria with V6 engines as top of the line.

All Cima (some with V6 and AWD) and all US 1997-2001 Q45 (all VH41DE) were FY33 or FGY33.
