Has anyone on here by chance put subs into a 97 Q yet? And if so possibly could answer some questions for me? Appreciate any help I can get !

I've never put a subwoofer in my 99 but I will say this. The solid wall between the trunk and the interior of the car precludes the installation of a trunk mounted sub. You'll bother people outside the car more than hear it inside the car.

This compact subwoofer from Kenwood gets great reviews and could possibly be mounted behind or under the rear seat.

Not a bad idea as far as wiring wise should I run it just like a normal set or off the amp in the trunk cause recently blew one of the stock deck speakers tried replacing with a 500w 6.5" and kept blowing fuses? Appreciate it btw man thank you
