You know rust is NOT common in Texas. It's not easy to find cars with rust down here.
DeXter wrote:I'm not feeling them, Nemo. Sorry, bud.Maybe if you stuck them in the vents instead, it wouldn't look so bad.

But as long as you like them, that's what matters. I'm still rocking the primer gray, so what do I know.
DeXter, you were right. Something was wrong, and this is what I've found. Fog lights are same for 180sx and silvia, but brackets are different. It took almost two months for me to get the 180sx brackets. Here's the difference.

180sx bracket on top and silvia bracket at the bottom.

Close up.

Installed pictures. I hope my car looks better now. Honestly, I love the fog lights. They give subtle look on the front end. Next step is I have to source 180sx fog light switch and hook it up. Can't wait to see when they are on at night.

Rear end shot.

Thanks. They are clear tails. It's because of angle I guess.

I forgot that you were in TX, and you dont have seasons.

You need to take pics of those lights when they are on, in the dark, or the fog.

Again, it'll take a while to find the switch, so I'll go ahead and hotwire them to the battery to see how they look. Pics will come soon.

I ran into RP Sport subframe support braces, so I installed them last night. Looks like a pretty good solid product. These are supposed to prevent the subframe from moving front and back. I haven't driven the car yet though.

I took it out for a spin, but didn't get a chance to drive hard, so can't tell big difference for now.

Went to the local meet this morning and somehow GTRs parked right next to my car. They were huge. Courtesy Nissan hosted GTR & Z car show today from 9AM-1PM, but I couldn't make it. GTR owners said they would go there later.

What kind of headlight vent is this? Cwest, Do-luck? And how much was it? Is there any ducting behind it or is it only for looks?

Sorry for all the questions, but you're always very helpful and I've searched my brains out for a good deal.

It's from C-West. Fitment is perfect, so I highly recommend it. It's functional if you have aftermarket intake and filter and remove a small black trim right behind headlight on core support.
