How to remove the Stick Shift Knob on a 91 Q45

I've looked throughout the FSM, searched online...seems simple enough but can't figure it out.
...anyone know how to do this?

OK, went back a ways to get this and I am going to repost it here with some keywords that might help searchers:

TOOLS:
- NARROW FLAT-HEAD SCREWDRIVER
- LONG NOSE / NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS
-OR-
- RATCHET
- 10MM DEEP-WELL SOCKET

PROCEDURE:

1. Carefully pry up the button from the back inside edge using the screw driver
2. Insert 10MM deep-well socket OR use a needle nose plier over the thin rod sticking out of the center of the knob.
3. Rotate socket/plier counter-clockwise until nut is completely loosened from the threads.
4. Gently pull straight upwards on the shift knob
