Ok my 89 240 has the stock alloys with Firestone Firehawk p195/60R/15. Im gona buy new tires real soon and im staying with the Firehawks. I want to know what the widest tire that can fit on the stock alloy is. Maybe P205/60R/15? I want a wider footprint, but dont have the cash for bigger rims. Even if i do get new rims in the future they will only be 16's since i dont like big rims or chrome on my 240. Now my Cheyenne could use some niceCrager SS rims.

205-55-15 is the largest approved size listed in the MAST book.and firehawks suck, but thats just my opinion, if you've been happy, by all means, keep them.

that size will also keep your speedo fairly accurate.-chet
