dbestiz1 wrote:This has shaped up into a beautiful build thread. Do you have anything planned for braking and suspension? Either way keep up the good work.
Because I want to run tien edfc ( I wish powertrix had it)DCaff300ZX wrote:Super nice stuff man, can't wait to see your results!
And why not powertrix coilovers if you get the rest?
DCaff300ZX wrote:I kinda agree Ace, a good setup you just keep and it covers the most situations you'll face.
BUT, I suppose that a small amount of tweaking from the driver's seat couldn't hurt...but I also don't think I pay up for Tein and EDFC over Powertrix.
Ace2cool wrote:I honestly don't see the big deal about EDFC. That's just something else I gotta mount somewhere for something I'm never going to change. You find a good setting and stick with it.
See I am setting my car up to keep it classy so the little bit of adjustment that i can do with the edfc when im in the driverseat is perfect when i pick up a lady friend, that way the ride will be much smoother.. So to me its very worth it.TTkickedin wrote:Ya to me the edfc is a waste unless you're building a no-s*** track car and you need multiple suspension setups for different tracks. It's pretty cool technology nonetheless.
Something you can buy with edfc money, (coupled with money from your own pocket,) would be some JWT 272 cams(unless that's already on your list)
TTkickedin wrote:No mean to threadjack, Speaking of stock damper adjustment, IDK if this has ever been covered on nico but are there some good quality aftermarket performance dampers compatible with the stock damening adjuster?
Back on topic, so what about cams? Y U NO answer?! lol
I dont want cams because I dont want to have to d|ck with idle all the time.. Plus the cams in the motor right now are in damn good shape they checked out real good.. Clearences ect.. Ect..TTkickedin wrote:No mean to threadjack, Speaking of stock damper adjustment, IDK if this has ever been covered on nico but are there some good quality aftermarket performance dampers compatible with the stock damening adjuster?
