2nd Gear Start
I was wondering how the 2nd gear start worked for the 1st gen Q's? Did this always start in 2nd gear even if you floored it?

2nd gear start sucked.... Especially catching you in D pulling out of the drive through with a perfect Starbucks iced green tea lemonade. POS LG G3 in the other hand trying to race something you know an old Q can smoke. Whether your old a** car is faster or not doesn't matter when your nuts are covered with ice... Continue with your 2nd gear start comment please...

If you floor it, the car should start from 1st. There's a "kickdown" switch above the pedal that you'll hear click at WOT.

you can of course manually shift into 1st gear and it'll start in 1st gear.
