I just bought a 2013 G37 Journey with 7k miles, its practically a virgin. Anyways, what I have noticed is that on the freeway at 2500 RPM, I am doing exactly 75MPH. This really surprises me as my 2004 accord V6 5AT is doing about 2200 at 75mph. I certainly would have expected a 7AT to have a lower RPM at the same speed as an 11year old accord with a v6. I am curious to know what RPMs y'all (I'm in Texas) are getting at 75MPH. Smaller second question, the front left wheel area seems to really grumble at lower speeds, I am guessing hub bearing, but I took it to dealership and they said all was fine. What are the odds that the hub is bad on a two year old car with 7k miles on it?

I think in my 6MT I'm doing about 2700-2900 at 75 MPH. For an engine like the VQ, I don't think that's unreasonable, it doesn't make much of any power below 2000 RPM, and the last thing you'd want is to have the car keep downshifting when going up a mild incline or just to barely pass someone.

I don't recall my RPM at 75 MPH but at 80 MPH my RPM is exactly at 3k. At 75 it is obviously lower probably around 2500
