Nissan is conducting a voluntary safety recall of a small number of 2013 Sentra compact cars because they may have fuel tank assemblies that were not properly sealed.
A notice on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website puts the number of vehicles potentially affected at 392. Affected vehicles were built from September 11 through October 4, 2012 at Nissan’s Aguascalientes, Mexico plant....Nissan will notify owners and dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace, if necessary, at no charge. The Nissan safety recall campaign is expected to begin March 18, 2013.
