I'm curious what the visiblity will be like, and of course the powertrain would be what interests me the most. Most likely the production vehicle that we see in North Amercia will look a little different, in particular that UFO looking dash and console will probably be replaced with something a little more "normal" looking. Also I'm curious if they've increased the dimensions at all, or if it will stay the same size as the current model. With all the models there isn't much room to increase the size before you bump into the Murano class so likely they'll stay very close to the same, perhaps the wheelbase will be extended a bit for stability but who knows.
I find it interesting this "Hi-Cross" concept had a 3rd row of seats crammed in back - you can see a pic of it above. For years the Rogue's european cousin has had a 3rd row too, I can't imaging squishing into that tiny seat unless I had my legs removed because there looks to be literally no foot and leg room. Most likely we won't see the 3rd row in NA but who knows, we might get a surprise.
Anyway it will be fun to see the new models when they start showing up late next year.....

"Nissan manages to stuff three benches and seven seats into the four-wheel drive crossover without turning it into a hulking, full-sized SUV. In fact, the concept's 183.5 x 72.8 x 65.7 in (L x W x H) (4,660 x 1,850 x 1670 mm) is actually well smaller than the Murano and closer in size to the Rogue."
"Another point of divergence is in the powertrain. Instead of your typical V-6, Nissan equips the Hi-Cross with a 2.0-liter direct injection gas engine and electric motor. The Hi-Cross relies on the gas engine as its main power source, and the electric motor to cut emissions and up fuel economy. Nissan says the powertrain gives the driver the power of a 2.5-liter engine with much better fuel economy and emission numbers."
Besides if it gets too close to Murano in size, they'll just make the Murano bigger. Toyota upsized several of it's SUV's, so Nissan would probably follow suit.
