Hello- I purchased a 2012 Q56 a few months back with 900 miles on it. I was told someone purchased it and then decided they didnt like the seat configuration and traded it on a different one. From the beginning the clock wouldnt keep time and the climate control would only blow HOT air. The lights on the lcd panel would radomly go dim and then back to light. The traction light, abs light, and 4 wheel drive lights would also randomly come on without pushing any buttons. Today the truck left us stranded with only 6,000 miles on it and had to be towed. It acted like it was slipping into 4 wheel low and it would brake hard without barely touching the pedal.

Needless to say I am concerned that the reason this truck was returned wasnt exactly the seat configuration. I have not heard anything from the dealer as of yet.

Anyone have any advise or experience with this sort of thing?? We purchased this as a family vehicle and we are planning to take it to the florida keys boat in tow which is 1800 miles one way. I am worried it is going to jam into 4 wheel low on I-95 and kill us all...

I mean, take it back and have the dealer fix those items. its certainly under warranty.

get your own car fax report and see if its been involved in anything.

recommend NOT to drive this vehicle that far away with family AND TOWING A TRAILER????!!! NOOOOOO sir....

the ABS lamps and such turning on are a sign that something is wrong in the HU. the car has a computer network called CAN that talks to all of the components in the car serially. one quick thing you can do is go to a pep boys or autozone and have them plug up their scanner tool to the OBD port under the dash and pull the codes that are no doubt being generated.

for record, what trim options are on your car?
