I know im probably posting here something that has been many times before, but I am at a bit of loss. I bought a used 2012 g37. I am experiencing the battery drain/no start just one click. To make a long story as short as possible i installed a new battery 600cca. Fully charged drains down to 50% overnight and in the cold weather wont start just a click. Charge battery car starts. I understand there's a service bulletin and that theres a valve assembly in the canister replacement battery replacement and a ROM Flash.1. Will Infiniti still honor this since the car is under no warranty?? Or is it all coming out of my pocket? 2. If its not covered will replacing the valve on my own solve the issue? 3. Am I correct in the ROM flash just changes the alternator time? I believe i have read you need to drive over 14miles per trip for the alternator to charge battery? Thanks for any advice. Im trying to avoid a 600$ bill at a dealer if all it is replacing a 100$ canister valve... Thanks Again

How can a 2012 vehicle not have a warranty? Mine has one.
Was this a flooded or salvage title vehicle?
Why would you purchase such an expensive vehicle without a warranty?
Did you have this vehicle inspected at a dealer prior to purchase?
If not, why not?

I just bought a 2012 without a warranty as well. 70K+ miles. Why? Simple answer, money. I payed $5k-$10k less then any other 2012 I could find in good condition. These are great cars and will last forever if taken care of. I'm gamb|ing that I will not spend $5k on repairs while I own the car (knock on wood).

As far as the battery issue, sorry, I can't help. I would go to the Auto parts store and have them test the alternator just to eliminate it from the equation.

Not something I would ever do but good luck with it.
Did you ever have the vehicle inspected by a Infiniti dealer or do you just keep your fingers crossed?
