Sorry, I don't have the new fogs, so I have no way of comparing them. The mounting brackets are different though.

OK, I have the bumper installed and my calipers painted!
Bumper fits perfectly, but I did have to modify the fogs brackets though.

The new bumper has an opening for the splash guards, and they are approx $35 ea. I plan to just plug them with some plastic piece for now.

I'm still waiting on the emblem since it is larger than the old one.

This front looks much sharper then the old ones...I somewhat wish I had waited for a few months and get the 2011, rather then the 2010....Awesome job Andy

No, the new bumper has an aditional splash guard on each side in front of the wheel. See attached picture of the front left corner of the new bumber.

You have to cut and drill the new bumper’s fogs brackets, so if you are not 100 percent sure you can do it - DON'T DO IT! I think it would be easier to find a pair of round aftermarket fogs that you can just mount to an existing bracket. You can always sell your old fogs on eBay.

I have a feeling that fog lights are the same and it's just a brackets are different. I might be wrong. Looks good BTW.

ANDY WHAT did you have to do to motify the fogs

just curious as the body shop might not be aware how to do this when i take the parts

plus the dealer wanted almost 200 for each fog

thats alot plus im not sure if the harness is gonna work
so i rather do it your way :dblthumb:

what is your total with your "discount"? also paint? I don't see any mention of paint cost. Nice upgrade.

Tranceboy, as I mentioned before, I wouldn't recommend you cutting that bumper to adapt your old fogs, unless you really don't care if you screw up. Check with a car mod store and see if they have some round fogs that would fit in to the new bumper. You can then buy them from store or find the same fogs on eBay for a lot less $$. New fogs are roun with a strait lens not like the older ones. You really don't need same harness/connectors, just splice the wires (only 2 for ea fog) or use other solutions from the electronic store.
Paint job cost anywhere from $170 to 250 (I wouldn't pay more- check with some small body shops-owner/operator type) and make shure they pick the correct color tone. My color code had 6 different tones, so the painter had to remove my gas cap cover to have a 100% match.

Tony, I paid $326 for the bumper and the grill and $42 for the emblem. That's including tax. I was suppose to get 20% discount, but I'm not sure that I got the fare deal though, because no one knows (yet) what is the real MSRP is...

Will this new grill fit into my 2009 S or do I have to buy the bumper too? I've got venom red Rogue and I really like it except for one thing power. I got spoiled by the strength and speed of my Alti3.5 SE.

Now look for this grill somewhere else. Let's say carid.com and it goes about $350 over there.

No, this new grill will not fit into your 2009 Rogue, and yes, you do need the bumber too.

Off topic here. New owner of a 2011 Rogue. I have been reading a lot from the forums and learning a lot. By the way, Leo, awesome job on the headlights.

Andy very nice work. when you got your new bumper, did it already have the fog light brackets?

I am thinking about installing fog lights and wanted to see if I could just do it myself. I noticed some wires and think it's for the fog lights and tried to follow it up. It looks like they run up and join up with the headlight wires. Would this mean they will turn on when I turn on the headlights?

The brackets should come with the fog light assembly.

The wires are directly behind the fog light opening. You need to buy a new headlamp switch which includes an additional switch for the fog lights, otherwise they will not work. The fog lamps are also designed to work in conjunction with the headlamps and will only operate when both the headlamp switch and fog lamp switch are turned on. IIRC they also shut off when high beams are activated.

Here's my 2011 bumper but didn't install the fog lights yet. It is more than a brackets because the whole fog lights are different since new ones installing from outside. Decided to do it later since one of my ballasts died a month ago and have to ship it back to vleds. Next week will be installing rear KROM bumper :)

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I saw pictures of the Rogue with the grills off. Just would like to ask how you removed the grills? I'm trying to remove the grills on my Rogue; the top clips and bottom tabs are easy to unlock/remove but the grill is still attached to the bumpers with clips on both sides of the grill. How do you unlock those two remaining clips? Are those the only ones keeping me from successfully detaching the grill?
