can someone point me in the right direction on where the flasher relay is located? i looked in the fuse panel under the driver side dash with no luck. halp?

To answer your question,
Nissan hasn't used conventional turn signal/flasher relays in many years... Everything is now computerized via the BCM (Body Control Module) which is located behind/above the glove box.
Perhaps if you describe what you are trying to do, we can suggest a solution.

ahhh.. i see. thanx philipa_240sx. i bought a aftermarket flasher relay from here autolumiation.com in hope to use led front and rear signal lights instead of load equalizers.

Sadly, there is no chance of using that relay. Load resistors/equalizers are your only way.
