Some thoughts on the restyled 2011 Murano S: the mid model restyling successfully updates this SUV. The revised hood, grille and front fascias are sleek and stylish without going being too Buzz Lightyearish. The chrome tinged rear taillights also look great against the merlot paint of the particular model I'm driving. The 260 HP VQ powering this SUV is more than adequate, but I anticipate Nissan is hard at work on the next powerplant to provide better economy (and power) from the next version of the Murano. Did Nissan invent this market segment when they introduced the Murano seven years ago?

The one thing I disliked about the Murano when it first came out was the grille area. This model is much better.

I agree on the grille revision, but most of the styling on this version works well. Depending on where you live, you'll see a lot of Muranos. They tend to be trouble-free and durable, but not exactly the Nissan model that enthusiasts flock to.
