RECALL ALERT!!

According to a bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel pressure sensors in the three recalled vehicles may not have been tightened to the proper specifications. Over time, the sensors may loosen, and as a result, they may cause a fuel leak. And any time there's a fuel leak, there's a risk of fire.

I went to my dealer to get this checked out and try to beat the crowd and they have no info on this recall or what is required of it. they told me to call back at the end of the month to see if they had gotten the info required to fix it. im gonna give them a call about mid month. they did check my juke out and said there were no visible gas leaks so im happy to hear that.

As a Nissan Technician, I regularly check through active Service Campaigns and Bulletins. I have yet to see or hear anything about this issue with the Juke. The only issues we have had so far are the air inlet tube, rear seat latch, and a door latch (specifically for cold regions). I will post any information if a fuel pressure regulator campaign comes up.
