Yes, it's that time of year again and I figured I would start up the fun by hearing everyone's 2010 New Year's Resolutions for their 240sx/Project car.

How it works, let everyone know what you plan on doing over the course of 12 months with your car:

What Mods do you plan on buying / installing?

What type of Build do you plan?

What time do you want to run? track related?

Track times, events, magazine spots, 12 months on jack stands?

And any other car related goals for this year.

Did you finish your 2009 goals?

Then we can all look back a year from now and see what we've accomplished.

That's funny I just looked at my old list.Instead of buying S15 seats, I bought the GS seats from Sonicmotors.And I never had a chance to go home to replace my RUCAS either.

So update to last year's:

Plans or at least 'hope to's":

Put parts on that currently have:SPL FLCA for coupe- DONESwap FLCA (new with whiteline bushing) from coupe to Vert - Not yetRUCA on Vert - Not yetTurbo parts on coupe, after swapping for lower mileage engine- DONEReplacement taillight for Vert (crack)- Not yetSS braided brake lines for Vert- Not yetNew Hawk HPS pads on both cars- soon

To buy:Few small turbo pieces (maf pigtail, etc) - DONEWider wheels/tires for coupe- DONEACT Clutch for coupe- DONEAlignment for both cars - Coupe yes, Vert no

So for the coming year:

Vert:5 speed swap - to start in JanuaryPut parts on (taillight, braided brake lines, hawk pads, RUCA, FLCA with Whiteline bushing)Get Alignment

Coupe:Install EBC, raise boost, go to dyno to check A/FDo something about exterior appearance

Mods:

I plan on getting some Brembo slotted rotors and Hawk hp pads all around. I would like to install the JWT s3 cams I have just sitting in my room as well as my HG and Gt2871r (which has yet to be ordered). I also plan on getting some track worthy tires (Don't know what yet though).

Track events:

I'm going to try to get too as many HPDE events as money/my job allows.

Well last year i was driving a b13 and getting a 240 wasn't even a thought until march rolled around. I have surprised myself and surpassed a ton of goals... nice coils, proper alignment/adjusters, even cleaner than last car engine bay, and i finally got a koyo lol.

Idk I'm almost done with suspension stuff but I will be getting a master bushing kit and doing the most labor intensive part of the build when the springtime/summer comes. Saves money because it takes so long to do them all lol.Have fun driving/events and give myself more track time than last year!

Other than that I would like to source a nice oil cooler kit and install .Maybe a tune as well, depends on the job acquired.

I plan on finishing the bodywork on the car first. Then following someones build on here as faras upgrading the intake and turbo on the rb25. and also lower the suspension on the car as well but that shouldnt be hard since the coils are already on there. I wanna hit the track and see what times i can get in virginia and maryland and hope that i dont suck too much. learn how to drive good on courses at high speeds and drift a little bit so i can rip up some good used tires as well. should be a fun year for the car. as far as this past year with the car i have succeeded in what i planned to achieve for 09 and maybe the same will happen in 2010. and to also avoid it when people do not interject constructive thoughts and would rather talk down to me or anyone that is simply having fun in what they are doing.

Goals for 2010: -Be happy with damper/car height/spring rate settions.....-Paint the car (Blue/black or white.... Decisions decisions......)-Find a new engine candidate worthy of KA-T

As for 2009.....-Fix the body damage *Check*-Solve the electrical problems *Check*-Install coilovers & Type-X tail lights *Check*

I'm pretty happy about the progess I've made with my S13.

S13 Plans: -Install Master Bushing Kit w/ Subframe bushings-Replace dented oil pan, remove timing chain tensioner guides, 248/232 cam swap.-Coilovers... Either KTS Ultralows or Stance GR+ Pro-New Wheels...

S14 Plans-Replace cracking front bumper.-Fix dent in front fender and fuel door release lever.-Replace Knock sensor-Clean it and then sell it.

For 2010, I would like to finish rebuilding my suspension...install my navan skirts and buy a navan bumper along with some valances! And drop it off at a decent shop to have it painted a different color and remove the stock spoiler. blah blah blah...so much more in my mind.
