how's it look?williamk10 wrote:Just debaged my Versa tonight. Getting the double sided tape off was a pain in the butt. One word of advice, keep it warm with the hair dryer when peeling the tape off. It'll make getting it off a lot easier than it would be if it were cold.
Really? My car is from Arizona and I do have the SL badging...weird they would do that or they just peeled off in the summer like you said at the dealershipBubs daddy wrote:In the old days, badges, script, letters and numbers were made of metal and riveted or bolted on, thus the holes. For decades now, most badges and logos are plastic chrome stick ons.
Easy to get off and as suggested use a hairdryer and they peel right off. Unless you're in Arizona in spring or summer. Just leave your car outside and peel off at noon.
There will be no holes so go for it.
Mine is an SL but SL badges weren't applied to many 2007's from the factory. So I have an SL without the SL designation, even though I didn't take anything off the car.
It's just stuck on with some adhesive.bigboirob wrote:im planning to debadge my nissan versa sedan, is the nissan logo on that removable as well? will it leave holes? how will i find out before attempting to remove it?
I would suggest going to your local store and finding their section with 3M tape. They have a double sided weather resistant tape that holds through rain. It cost me like $3 for a roll and I only needed a couple pieces for my eyelids that stick to my headlightssinha0713 wrote:So I guess this is the exact opposite of the topic name. but what do you guys suggest if I want to add something to my car like an SL or whatever the case is?
Superglue?
3M tape? will it hold in the rain?
also considering If you mess up with superglue, your royally screwed...
any opinions?
