Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and I have tried searching for an answer for this but nothing has come up. My battery recently died and when I boosted it, the tachometer needle points straight down. It moves when I drive but it does not show the correct rpm. I am wondering if there is a test or calibration that I can do to get the needle back to return back to its normal position. The speedometer, fuel and temp gauge still work properly. Any advice will be amazing!! Thanks!

:welcome: to NICO!

The first thing I would try is pulling the cluster and manually moving it back to the correct resting position...

Check out the factory service manual at http://www.infinitiservicemanual.com for help accessing it.

Good luck!

Heath

Yeah, that's a weird one. Go through the FSM and let us know if you find the problem.
