My wife and I left for dinner with no issues, however after dinner we encountered no acceleration/engine power other than idle. Additionally, the gear position indicator does not display along with "slip", low tire pressure, and "VDC Off" indicator lights are illuminated.

I have read that there was a recall having to do with the drivetrain position sensor being faulty which could potentially cause an issue similar to this. Any thoughts on what is occurring?

Get any codes read, and have your charging system checked.

Yeah. I brought it to get the code read and it is giving the traction system control circuit, but they are not sure of the cause.
