Actually I have questions regarding the procedures outlined in FSM for engine control. I have a problem that is getting worse with surging at low speed and what seems like a hesitation from a stop. The main problem is when accelerating from a stop you can't do so smoothly and gently. From what I can tell this crops up when the engine is still somewhat cold or at least not fully warmed up.

I'm looking through the FSM for the accelerator pedal learning and throttle valve closed learning and it talks about turning on the ignition switch. Just to clarify, since these cars have remote keys and no actual ignition switch, this means pressing the start/stop button with your foot off the brake correct?

Other than this issue the car has been great, but it is frustrating when you are in a parking lot and the car won't hold a steady slow speed.

Answered my own question after looking it up in the manual.
