Hey g35 community. My question is about supercharging a 2006 infiniti g35x. If I have a stage 1 or stage 1.5 gtm supercharger kit installed on a 2006 g35x would the rev limiter need to be raised? Can I keep the stock shift points which is 6400-6600 rpms in auto drive mode? I did contact gtm about this kit and they sent me a dyno graph but I think it was of the 600 hp kit and max power for that kit was at 7100 rpms I think. It looks like gtm is the best way to go for forced induction and they offer performance parts for everything which is great. Has anyone supercharged their g35x sedan and did your limiter need to be raised? What can I expect in drivability and performance?

Do they offer some sort of piggyback ECU with the kit? I'm not too familiar with the GTM, but when I had the Vortex, it had a tuning solution (it sucked, but it was included).

Shift points should be figured out by the factory ECU with no issues, especially under mild boost.

To my recollection, the biggest issue with mine was the wonky VQ35 throttle position sensor and terrible jerkiness at tip-in. My tuner spent months trying to dial it in so tip-in would be smooth, with limited success. THat's been several years, so things may have changed.
