I tried looking through the 300zx pix thread, but couldn't open some of the pages. I was wondering if some of you had pix of the 06 350z five spoke wheel on your Z32. They are painted silver and not chrome right? I was thinking of buying a set, but I wanted to see how it would look first.

I *think* you are talking about these. These are a few pics of a friend of mine:

Thanks for the quick response freak. Yeah, those are the ones. I think they look great on that car.

Anyone have pix on them on a t-top?

I agree, those wheels look really nice on the 300. I didn't like the first version, but these fit the scheme of the car well. Too bad they are so insanely expensive.

I was thinking of having some precut black vinyl made to cover the flats. It will give it that lightweight look without having to cut material off. Internet info reports this wheel at 26 lbs.

Without bashing on my quick photo chop skills, what do you guys think about the rear wheels? If you like it, would you chose flat or gloss black? OR maybe the color of your car - nah...my car is beige.

They look decent on the Z32 and I have pictures of them on a few of them at home that I'll post up for you later tonight.

As for the black sections, I think that looks HORRIBLE.

IMO they look better on s14's than they do on z32's.

They look good on Z32s. A local Nissan tech has an NA->TT with those same wheels. He tells me that he didn't need spacers to fit them.

Your friend's car is unfair. It's a maroon droptop. it already looks good, even without the wheels and bumper.

Sort of a crappy picture, but I have them on my TT. I have some newer pictures, but I have yet to upload them.

Zwicked - I'm checking out a set tomorrow. The guy agreed to $400 with a good pair of front tires. Look around, I'm sure you will find a good deal near you.

Where's the rest of the pix?

Honad - what size tires did you end up getting? Did you try to match the OEM diameter? I was thinking of keeping the 225/45 front and throw on a pair of 245/40 I have laying around. The rear will be 1% smaller than the front with this setup, but it's just till I wear them out. These are still about 2-3% bigger than OEM diameter though (speedo issues).

I won't be able to roll on these for another couple months (out of state work assignments). The motor is still out waiting for parts too. I did replace the ECU wire harness, new t28's (upgraded t25's), HICAS delete, etc.

Where are those pix? I could use some more motivation...

i don't like those Z33 wheels on the Z32. i like the RAYS Z33 wheels, though. the 6 spoke ones. but not enough to buy them. and i really don't like the black on them, especially if it's to fake something like lightness. those wheels aren't exactly cheap, so why not just spend the same money to get actual light wheels?

Well, because I like them and for $400, I couldn't say no. I'll be picking them up soon. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town next Monday and won't be able to work on my baby till I get back a month later. I can't roll on my new wheels til after I put the motor back in - Ughh -

My favorite light wheels are the RPF1's, but I didn't like how they looked on the 300. They looked better on my SUV.

Here they are on a white Z32 that was spotted at NICOfest Nashville.

Car was kinda rough and the wheels were dirty, but you get the idea. Also, no spacers appeared to be used.

i like the RPF1s a lot. and they're a lot cheaper than other wheels of that quality. i think they look good on the Z. i've seen it a few times.

Screw the wheels, I like the car. Forester 2.5XT. Sadly, they were out of my price range when I was looking for a daily. So much untapped potential by just using OE STi bits.

The wheels don't look too bad on a Z32. They look even better on a S14 though
