Does anyone know how to remove the IACV on an 03 SE-R in order to clean it?

The best instructions you'll find are in the FSM. Grab it from the link in my signature.

Wow! The moderator really should have caught this one. I don't think there is an AICV valve on that car. You have electronic throttle or drive by wire. To adjust the idle, after you clean the throttle body, you need to perform an Idle Air Volume Learn. Nissan suggest you not spray anything harsh directly into the throttle body. Spray the chemical on a rag and then reach in there to clean out the carbon build-up. Your idle will probably be irratic or just high. I know you can use Consult II to perform the relearn but there maybe a way to manually make the car relearn idle. Good luck

nametakennow, me thinks you slacken on your pimpin. Tighten up playa

B15 SE-R's are drive by wire, nice catch. Forgot about that. My SE is cable-throttled.

ok, thanks a lot guys, i tried cleaning the throttle body myself and now the car is idling erratically, so i guess the car needs to relearn idle, i will see how much a mechanic will charge to do it

No relearn required for the fuel pump. Should be plug and play.

Not 100% sure on this, but isn't the fuel pump in the gas tank?Definitely not a DIY job if it is.Can someone verify?

Fuel pump is in the tank, but accessible from the back seat with ease. Definitely a DIY.

hey im having some starting trouble after my car is warmed up, it will just keep cranking when i try to start the car the first time so I have to take the key out of the ignition and crank it again for it to start properly could this be due to a faulty fuel pressure regulator?

Sure. Hooking up a fuel pressure gauge for testing is gonna be difficult unless you have the appropriate equipment. I have seen many fuel pressure regulators go bad in sentras.

Could be FPR, could be fuel pump. Testing the voltage at the pump is probably going to be easier than getting the right stuff to test the FPR, so I'd start there first.

yeh the repair kit for the FPR is like $275 and a brand new fuel pump is like $350 so I think I'm just gonna go for the fuel pump... some day when I have the dough

hey i have yet to get the problem fix but I'm pretty sure its a faulty fuel pressure regulator. You can buy the repair kit which is $250 or you can buy a brand new fuel pump and save yourself much hassle for about $280 (autopartswarehouse.com) it's a simple plug and play procedure. Here is a pretty awesome tutorial of how to do it on youtube.
