Forgive me in advance if I've failed to find the thread that answers my question; I've scoured the forum and I can't find a straight-forward answer. I desperately need to replace the struts and shocks on my 2001 Q45T's active suspension, but I do not want to pay the $$$$ for OEM components. Could one of you please tell me the correct manufacturer and part number for the components I would need to replace the active parts with standard passive ones? Would KYB SR4002 work?

if you tell the dealer you want the strut inserts for the 97-98 Q those will work. Yes, you can replace the OEM shocks with the KYB SR Specials, and really the "active" suspension isn't really worth hanging onto.

How do we get the part for the 1998 front struts and is there any s13/14/15 suspension parts that fit also. Friend has kyb struts but different attachment at bottom. Help please and if you can info on the inner sleeve for the front strut 1998 q45. Thanks very lost. Can find replacements
