2001 Pathfinder Blower quit

The A/C blower motor on my 2001 Pathfinder first clicked a lot, the started smelling of burning electronic/ motor? The it just quit? Am I talking Motor or Amp or both?

Was the clicking during all settings, not just the lower settings (1 or 2)?

Remove the glove box assembly and inspect the blower motor resistor wiring as well as the blower motor's. Both items' wiring harnesses should be easily visible after you remove the glove box. See here for instructions. Think about changing the cabin air filter if it hasn't been changed in the past two years or so as well.
