Hi Iam New here.
On my q front wheels move foward a couple of inches when braking in addition a clunking sound happens. This lead me to believe either lower control arm bushings or radius rod /tension rod (seems to be called different names).

My issue is finding the lower control arm bushing.
Seems only the complete arm is available $
With the radius arm bushing i found both options the bushing replacement and rod replacement.

In research i heard the z32 arms are same for the older models.
Are there any compatible bushings that will be compatible from other nissan/infiniti for my 2000 anniv model?

I checked infinitiparts and other sites but no lower control arm bushings. Even whiteline only seems to have front upper bushings.
Any help please i want t ok get this thing resolved. Thanms!

tension rods more likely to be the issue. check those first. hockey pucks may be replaceable in the hands of a competent hydraulic press operator.

The tension rods is a vey common part to go bad. The issue is can you do the labor to replace the bushings or just buy the parts and install. I opted for new rods as the labor vs. parts was about even and I had no ability to do it myself. Either way it will make a huge difference in the way the car rides.

II just ordered the bushings and new bolts from Infiniti. 101.00 total. Im figuring 30.00 -50.00 additional to have them both pressed in. I can do the the work myself.

on FGY33 the rods are R and L specific, unlike G50. But that will become obvious to you. Be sure your press dude takes note of the orientation of the pucks. there is an arrow on the bushing. make sure it clocks the same with new part. make sure to note on which side the bushing is proud and by how much relative to the rod-hoop.

Wow that price has really gone up!!! They were $35 for the bushings and $200 for the rods back in 2004-5 timeframe. Infiniti is really killing us on replacement part prices!!

It will be money very well spent, huge difference in the ride of the car.
