Has anyone ran into any problems doing this, does anyone have this and can let me in on some info before I do it?

Personally I have not done it. It can be done, but not sure of necessary mods to make it happen. When you put on the 20's, it will give the car the appearance of being "lifted" a little bit. Just as well, you will need to look into upgrading your brakes, with that much rolling weight. IMHO 18's are as big as anyone should go, and bigger... well just ain't my cup of tea.

I have 18's on there now and with the bodykit there's alot of wheel well showing in the front. And yeah, I've already looked into upgrading my brakes.

Yeah, I priced an airbag kit for it. My car scrapes now in a few spots around here. This town and the surrounding towns aren't very import friendly. Its alot of big trucks around here

it can be done, but at a high cost.

your mpg will suffer. You will also need an alignment. Your car will be slower as well.

At least you're looking at bags; some people think throwing 20's will fill the gap.

as you can see i got 20s on mine its a lil slower but not a lot you do sit higher as soon as you get in the car you can notice it and feel a lil heavier too. However the 20s rim and tire is the exact same size and the stock rim and tire you just have more rim and less tire on the 20s. holla back at me.

I've always had 20's on both my 98 & 01.

I had to roll the fenders on both and re-paint them.

I changed my suspension and springs as well. If you have OEM suspension and 20's you'll look like your going 4 wheelin'.

MY 2001 used to rub a lot until I found the trick. Here is my secret:

I put Vogtland springs on the FRONT only with FULL tokico illuminas all around on setting 5.

I left the stock rear springs, which made the gap between the front and rear, IDENTICAL.

If you notice most ALL maximas are lower in the rear and a bit higher in the front. By lowering the front with Vogtlands and doing full suspension with 20's, my maxima sits completely flush and I have zero rub with my backseat packed with people.

Just my 2 cents.

Actually, the suspension stayed exactly the same from 2000-2003. Maybe that loud scraping noise you started a thread about is the rubbing?
