crazy build, very impressive. You might want to get some steel back on the nose though, the thing is like a whiffle ball.

An SR20 that blew up? Get out of town, that never happens. They're made out of dope and window stickers, they could never up and pop like they were constructed out of Pepsi cans and failed dreams.

Smart move going to something that can actually take abuse.

That's the weirdest color of coolant oil that I've yet seen. Usually it turns into a greyish tapioca-like substance...not lime green baby vomit.

I'd say 75% of those cars in the pictures would not be date-presentable... so at least you're in good company :gapteeth:

its not really green, its like straight up. nesquick, even the texture

That's alot of changes for one car dude! lol

Would you recommend this car as a first starter / learner drift car? I found a really clean '87 200sx SE but I'm not 100% sure on it because I've seen some mixed reviews

Just get an s13, unless you really like the way S12's look.

You can throw alot of s13 parts at an s12 but they aren't completely the same.

The rears are more like a z31,IIRC.

But its easier and cheaper to build an S13 or s14 and go drifting.

YES! I have been in love with the 1jz since riding in Keiley's car. I've spoken with you a few times at University of Maryland shows. Nice update.

Dam, old Dominion is still open? I figured all that housing development would have pushed them out.

Yeah I get what your saying but its hard to pass up a vg30 powered S12 in great condition for 1000 lol

Do S12's have independent suspension?

It's a good platform, get it. S12s have IRS, yes. They share many components with Z31s including the VG and they had VG30ETs, hint hint.

That is extremely misleading. VG30ET is practically impossible to get in there.

please detail this as I have entertained doing this myself. You might save two people problems. I am talking about the SOHC VG, not the DOHC ones.

Yes, so am I.

The plenum doesn't fit from the ET, it would take a nice chunk out of the firewall, but you can use the stock S12 plenum. You would lose power tho. The turbo manifold runs directly into the steering column on USDM, not enough clearance on RHD models to get the turbo past the strut tower, not enough clearance to get the cross-pipe for the ET around the back, major plumbing problems going around the front should you try to do it that way (think remote turbo setup). Everyone has trouble finding a place for a intercooler.

Good to know. My plan was headers on an ET motor with this on top, though. :naughty:

There's a guy who already did something similar with a VG33ER. He's in the articles!

Yeah, he lives near me. His car is sick and only getting better. It was a direct bolt in affair, except the supercharger sits through the hood.
