We don't use this car very much. The battery was purchased in April of 2008 and tests OK with a multitester. We have one of those combination jump-starters/compressors and it will not start the car. No lights or accessories at all come on. No noises when ignition is turned.

I looked at the various fuses and the ones I could examine look OK. Don't know what those one inch cubed-shaped fuses are or how to examine or extract them.

Don't know if this is pertinent, but when I took it to be inspected in February, I noticed that the speedometer was not working.

Any ideas for further checks?

Thanks,Bartolo

Sorry, false alarm. I wasn't jiggling enough with the jump starter. It took lots of fiddling with the negative ground on the chassis before it started.

It must have been the battery after all.
