I've replaced the plastic timing guides on my 93 q45 and now all I need to know is what the torque specs are for the guide bolts. I cannot find the specs anywhere and I cannot pull up a FSM either. Also, when I replaced the guides I decided not to replace my chain. I zip tied my chain as tight as I possibly could but yet when I removed the right side tension guide I could feel my cams move. I know for a fact that my chain never jumped a tooth. After pushing the chain back up and re-rotating the cam I managed to get the new guide and tensioner. My question is should I be worried about this? I'm a first timer when it comes to this stuff and theirs not much info out there..

Look at page 10..

Torque specs are all in parenthesis, so for instance the passenger side slack side guide has a torque spec of 9-14 ft-lbs.

I would say as long as when you roll the engine over that everything seems to roll smoothly you should be fine.
