Intro-Remove to access PCV and to make room for oil pressure gauge. People seem to get away without having the bracket. The bracket has 3 14mm bolts of different lengths. You need muscle or leverage to loosen. You will need to completely free up the alternator to get access to one bolt.

1. Free up the alternator and move it into the corner so you can access one of the bracket bolts that resides behind alternator. Chalk the bolt so you can find it easily from under car.Alternator removal

2.Remove the other 14mm bolts from up top.

so does this mean that we don't need the cover? so if i remove it can i not put it back in?
