1991-1993 240sx: Hatch lifts supports tutorial

Introduction Known by many names ie trunk lifts, trunk stays, hatch supports etc. None of the parts of the original supports are recycleable. When you buy replacement supports, you need two ball joints that screw into trunk door where the original fittings went. The replacement supports have receivers on either end to plug into new ball joints. you can get them for about $15 each at Rock Auto.

Cool, Thanks. The used non-stock ones I bought didn't come with the fittings so I'm out of luck.
