I'm getting a horrible high pitched radio squeal from the stock radio...and am wondering what this is. It is driving me batty? The radio has been replaced yet AGAIN, from a junk yard, with the same 'bose' model. What is going on? Is this interference, smashed wires, what?

Each speaker in the Bose system has its own amplifier and these amps tend to die. The best way to fix the issue would be to put in some new speakers and an aftermarket head unit.

If you go that route, you'll want to bypass the amps and wire the speakers directly. There are 4 wires total at each speaker, the two larger wires are the power wires for the amp and the two smaller are the signal. Just cut the two signal wires and connect those to the new speakers.
