Hey everyone. Im plannin on picking up a set of used 19" ADR M CLASSIC with 40% rubber left for 450$. Would these fit my 1990 300zx? The offset is 40 on both F/R, 19x 8.5.. I know 19"s are a bit too much for a 300zx, but I really like these rims and its a pretty decent price I think.

Offset sounds good. 19's fit fine...it's the rubber you got to worry about. Anything over a 285 or so is gonna probably push your quarter to the point of rub and potentially rolling the qtrs. 245's on the front is usually where I draw the line on the fronts.

i'd never buy wheels in that size. that diameter, that offset, or that narrow in the rear. but hey, if that's what you like.

agreed. that's what i'm getting when the time comes. i know of one Z32 that has 19" wheels that i like. but it's also way up there in the HP numbers and somehow he pulled it off. tein coilovers, one of Z1's turbo kits, bright red paint, stock body, 19" 5-spoke axis wheels. o and some kind of dual intake and hks exhaust.

I agree, i would stick with 18's, but I just cannot find rims which are cheaper than 800$ around my area, I actualy have to drive 4 hours out of town to pick these up for 450$ So.. for my money is an issue too lol. The rims originaly came off a 95 nissan maxima. I currently have stock chromed out pontiac rims which came with the car.. and everytime i take it out i get laughs.

I hope these images work for you guys.

well they'd definitely look better than those grand am wheels. you'll have to lower your car or it will look like a monster truck. and when you're ready you could always sell them, and you could probably get much more than 450 out of them.

the pics work now. they do look good. definitely better than those little ghetto wheels (i can insult them cuz you're getting rid of them, right?). i think you can get sportmax (now xxr) 962s 18x8.5/18x9.5 with tires for $8xx. some guy on here did a couple months ago i believe. but shortly after i think he swapped them out for works? those are good looking wheels, but everyone gives them crap for being heavy and the +35 offsets. but they do look really good.

Yea, cant wait to get rid of these rims i currently have. Do you guys know how much i would need to lower the car? I been talking to different people and I keep getting different opinions, one guy said it will rub for sure, another guy said it wont.

Yea, i like the lip too. But i was really hoping to pick up something from Ab-flug, especialy the side-body kit. But soo freakin expensive!

By the way, any of you guys have pics of 300ZX sitting on 19's? itd be sweet to have a comparison.

I second on this or you will be like those crap mobiles running on 20+ rims that are blinged out.

The handling on these cars are so scary, and how the car bounces over bumps... I try pass these cars to make sure I am not behind them...

I've seen a couple Z32's on 19's ... well one was one the Z33 Forged Rays 18F/19R set up. The other was on the G35 Forged 19's. Both looked good, but in all honesty, they didn't just throw nice wheels on a "stock stance" car.

I'll search some more for the pics.

IMO the stock wheels are somewhat dated.

Also, that's kinda pot/kettle of you considering you yourself have large wheels on the Z in your sig.

Bah....sold that pot BTW. Sold the widebody to a local guy. I widebodied the rear so 19's were a must. But then again they were 19x11's. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

hey i love the stock wheels, especially TTs. i want TT wheels all around (or at least in the rear) until i get aftermarket 18s. but people sell them for too much. i wish i could find someone selling them with tires and willing the trade for my na wheels with tires for a little cash on top, but nope.

when u say sick, are u meaning there nice looking or ugly looking. um im not too sure wat to do for suspension. wat ive leaned in life is, u get wat u pay for.. and going with cheap suspension, i dont think is a good idea. the tokiko's and eibach springs are only like $600-$700 for everything.

suspension should always be brand name. never CUT or ebay. it's not just the feel, but also safety!
