i have a 2002 maxima gle with a 17 inch wheel and when driving, the car feels light. I like my cars heavy. i was wondering if i should put 18 inches maxima wheels on my nissan. will this help make the car a bit heavy? please help

Well, if you put a set of chromed out 18's on her, she will feel a lot slower and a lot heavier. I'm not sure as to why you want it to feel heavy, but to each their own. If you upgrade your suspension, you will get a stiffer more controlled feeling.

The Maxima feels light? were you driving before the Maxima, an M1A2 Abrams tank?

Um, most people are trying to do the opposite, but hey if you want heavy rims, chrome is the way to go.

am into speed and in physics, the heavier the car when speeding, the safer it is rather than when the car is light.

But on that note, it is way harder to stop, with all the rolling weight. There is also more mass, and more inertia, which is not all that safe.

^ This is true but we are only talking a few dozen to one hundred extra pounds so it should not noticeible.
