Well, these wheels are actually for my s chassis. But I got a wild hair to try them on the V... and I think I like it. Needs a drop even worse now.

They are Weds Sport Kranze ERM, 2 piece wheels. Shipped over from j-land.

17x9 rear, 35 offset, 17x8 front with a 32 offset. Rear tires are 235/45/17, fronts are 215/45/17. Trust me when I say you CAN NOT go wider than this setup in the rear without poking out of the fender.

Look sweet, 225 in the rear and 205 in front for a little stretch and roll those fenders. "Should" clear.

I love the look of it. How does it handle with the larger tires, i.e. slower to turn slower to accelerate, etc.?

actually... other than quicker steering response... and a little more bumpy. I don't really feel a whole lot of difference, even with the Tanabe springs. I've seen a couple mpg's drop off since putting them on... but not too bad.

And as far as acceleration, I'm not really sure. I drive my Versa like a grandma, lol. Not to poke fun at it, but it frustrates me to try and drive it fast, just because it won't touch my other car. So I just cruise.

Oh yea, and so far. I only get a TINY bit of sidewall rub on larger dips in the road. Just enough to rub off tire shine, hahaha.

And I actually bought the grille from a member here. :dblthumb:

quick update: I went on a quick mountain run with some friends and slowly increased my mid-corner speed as I went through. I was a bit worried that with the "staggered" setup it might tend to understeer. I was wrong... the turn in was quite surprising. Car was extremely responsive, and quite easy to control. I was keeping up with an S chassis with probably $2000 worth of suspension. Did experience a LOT of outside tire rub in the rear, not enough to flatten it by any means... but it did scrub up the side a little. Going to double check the insides in a bit and see if there was any rubbing there.

What tires are you running?

on a related note, I've been driving this stretch of road the past few days. It has a lot of long, fast corners. On stock wheels and tires, the V felt alright with the Tanabe springs and the strut bar, but I need some Ultra Racing sway bars to be able to really rip it around the corners at full speed with confidence.

Another problem is that it is mostly uphill...so power is another problem
