I am changing my 2011 Rogue SV Stereo to a Pioneer AVH-P3400BH.
Has anyone installed this?

Not the same but a JVC on a 2012. Search for "Aftermarket Stereo" on the forum.

Are you wanting to sell your factory radio? If so which one do you have?

I am going with a Kenwood. Do you have pics? I am doing mine tomorrow. Waiting for the kit to arrive.

No pics, but just dropped a JVC in my 2010 Rogue S 360. Any questions?

Then, by all means, lobby the forum admins to allow pic uploads without a 3rd party hosting site.

I have hundreds of videos playing in the background while driving on my sd card. Visual art for the passengers or just to listen. The pioneer really enhances the sound from youtube. I can say that they sound (vid. file) the same or even better than mp3.

And this is through the OEM speakers! :thewave:

If you feel comfortable taking the panels apart, do some rewiring(not that much), and running a line all the way to the back for backup camera, then you should do it yourself. Personally, I think the hardest part is to run the wire to the back of the car for backup camera.

As I've been thinking about the radio the last few days I was actually considering trying to install it myself this weekend. And if it turned out to be a complete mess then I would just take it to the installer and have them do it. I figured it might be worth a shot at least and give myself the opportunity to at least see if I can do it on my own. I'm good with instructions and if I can find a video on it I'm even better. I'll let you guys in on a little secret , im actually a girl so messing with the technical parts of my car is not my thing. My previous car was an Acura and I paid to have all that stuff in my TSX installed but now I want to try to give it a shot myself. I've take apart my macbook and upgraded the hard drive by removing the optical drive and replacing it with an ssd while keeping my regular hard drive so I'm not faint at heart when it comes to doing that kind of stuff. If I decide to do it I will definitely post before and after pics as well as a vid.

if you buy it from crutchfield, they will give you the kits plus the installation sheet for you so most of the stuff is "plug and play". But if you have steering wheel control and you want to use it with your new radio, you probably need to do some wiring.

Thanks but im not looking for the 2012 head unit. I liked the one I had in my 2011 and would like to put the same one in my 240sx. The 2012 one is too wide to fit in the factory location on the 240sx but the 2011 fits perfect.
